We live in a society that constantly bombards us with messages about the importance of power, wealth, and status. From advertisements to social media, we are constantly reminded that having material possessions equals success and happiness. And unfortunately, this mindset has also seeped into our churches, where we are often taught that being wealthy and successful is a sign of God's blessings. But the truth is, this worldly perspective is nothing but an illusion. The reality is, no matter how much power, wealth, or status we attain, it will never bring us true fulfillment and contentment. In fact, the pursuit of material possessions often leads to dissatisfaction and emptiness. The Bible warns us against the dangers of chasing after worldly things. In 1 Timothy 6:10, it says, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." Dispensationalism  is a method of interpreting history that divides God’s work and purposes toward mankind into different periods of time. Usually, there are seven dispensations identified, although some theologians believe there are nine. Others count as few as three or as many as thirty-seven dispensations. In this article, we will limit ourselves to the seven basic dispensations found in Scripture.   The first dispensation is called the  Dispensation of Innocence  ( Genesis 1:28-30  and  2:15-17 ).
